On November 7, 2016, Beta Xi Chapter of Sigma held its Fall Induction Ceremony. Beta Xi invited Upsilon to join the event for the keynote presentation on mindful health titled "Simple Strategies for Inviting Self Care into your Life: Why? When? and How?" presented by Karen Avino EdD, RN, AHN-BC, HWNC-BC and Margret McGrath Brown BSN, MSN, AHN-BC, HWNC-BC. 

The event was live-streamed and Upsilon members were able to attend virtually in what was the first of hopefully many future collaborations with other Sigma chapters around the globe.
