Upsilon Chapter held its 2016 Annual Induction Ceremony on April 11 at the Rosenthal Pavilion, Kimmel Center at NYU. The Chapter was honored to celebrate its Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 inductees (see lists below).
The Chapter was honored to have one of our own members as keynote speaker, Vincent Guilamo-Ramos, PhD, MPH, LCSW, RN, who spoke on Making the Case for Adolescent Health: Nurse Leadership in Reducing Health Disparities. The Upsilon Raffle, an annual tradition, raised money for one of Dr. Guilamo-Ramos' organizations, The Center for Latino Adolescent and Family Health. (The raffle also raised money for Upsilon's service partner, New York Common Pantry.)
The 2016 Scholarship award winners were also honored at the ceremony. The scholarship recipients were:
